The Military History of the Sultanate of Aceh refers to the history of the military forces of the Sultanate of Aceh and their campaigns led by Aceh's rulers and military commanders. Aceh became the dominant military power in Sumatra since the 16th century until its fall in 1903 under the hands of the Dutch. Prior to Dutch conquest, Aceh had launched numerous military campaigns against its neighboring states, including raids and defensive warfare against the Portuguese Empire. By the 17th century, Aceh was led by one of the greatest military leaders in the maritime Southeast Asia, Iskandar Muda of Aceh led a series of conquests that led Aceh into its prime era, extended its ruled over a vast territory around mainland and maritime Southeast Asia.

From the late 19th to early 20th century, Aceh was severely affected by the Aceh War after the fall of Kotaraja in 1874. Aceh Sultanate was de jure and de facto abolished by the abdication of its last sultan in 1903.
