His association with Baba deepened when he joined Baba's institutions for his higher studies. He grew close to Baba. During his life after graduation when he worked in a bank in Bangalore, Sadguru started having visions of Baba[20] (similar to that experienced by disciples of Jesus) a his home where Baba would guide him on various aspects of his spiritual life[23]. After the physical demise of Baba on 24 April, 2011, Sadguru was guided by Baba to meet various followers of His to start few service projects. Since then, Sadguru, guided and inspired by Baba, has started various service projects for the benefit of all the people, without any discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, nationality, age, gender, or any other factors[24].
