The Market Capitalist provides tools and information that anyone interested in investing can use to better acclimate themselves with investments beyond a savings account, CD and money market account.
The site uses blogging, investment strategies, video clips, educational resources, links and research to engage the audience on a personal level with advice and information to achieve a more in-depth look at advanced investing concepts and knowledge.

The company's mission statement is "Maximize returns, minimize risks, and live well." It is also famous for the quote, "You work hard for your money, Your money should work hard for you."
About Dominico Johnston[edit]
Dominico Johnston is an individual investor, blogger and author with over 10 years of investing experience. At the age of 24 he earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno.
With a passion for educating others to become more successful investors, he founded TheMarketCapitalist.com in 2007 and launched an investment education blog on the site in 2009. He actively manages his personal savings and retirement accounts, along with his portfolio.
“My motivation for the development and growth of this site comes from my desire to help people become better investors. Through the use of this site, I seek to provide an easy and accessible way for all visitors to learn more about the variety of investment options they have access to and gain a better understanding of investments that often are misunderstood," states Dominico Johnston on his website, The Market Capitalist.
In July 2011, Dominico released his first E-Book, titled, “Event Driven Investing: Increasing Returns & Lowering Risk on the Road Less Traveled."
