Programs[edit]

Undergraduate[edit]

Miami’s undergraduate business education program offers a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.[1] Within those degrees, the school offers majors in specific business sectors such as real estate, finance, and health management.[1][2]

Graduate[edit]

The school's Master of Business Administration can be earned through several different paths, including: a full-time program, two accelerated options (an MBA and an MBA in Real Estate), an online Professional MBA, and an Executive MBA (EMBA) for working professionals.[3][4][5][6] All of the graduate programs place an emphasis on experiential learning, with students being graded on portfolios they develop in their coursework as opposed to exams.[7]

Students may choose from master's specializations such as finance, accounting, and business analytics.[4][6] They may also pursue an interdisciplinary degree such as a JD-MBA, PhD-MBA, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Business. Miami Herbert also operates a program in collaboration with the university’s School of Architecture for a Bachelor of Architecture/MBA.[3][6][2]

Miami Herbert has three EMBA programs: an EMBA for Health Management and Policy, the Miami Global MBA, and the Global OneMBA.[3][8] The Miami Global MBA is a 17-month program for business professionals with at least 10 years of experience.[9] Classes in this program are team-taught.[9] Students attend lectures, question and answer sessions, and complete collaborative work to further develop skills acquired in their fields while also learning new ideas in business leadership.[9] The Global OneMBA program is run by Miami Herbert in association with a multinational consortium of universities.[10] It provides students with international business experience.[11]
