I am a professor of Classical Archaeology, who only made an account because of frustrating bits of misinformation that keep rearing their heads around here. This is a wonderful resource for public information, with proper stewardship. Otherwise, I'd be fine being a spectator here. Where I can, I offer better information sources, and, when I'm too busy to follow up completely, suggestions where such sources can be found.

I am concerned that sometimes my spelling moves more quickly than my hands do, so I need to watch for letters appearing out of order.
