Miguel Antonius Torres Teurlings, son of Antonius Wilhelmus Teurlings and Isabel Maria Teurlings is a Swiss, Dutch, and Portuguese man with a promising and prestigious future medical career, currently studying at the International School of Lausanne[1] in Switzerland. Miguel always showed a great passion for medicine and demonstrated an amazing future as a surgeon in Switzerland. He is recently known for discovering a potential effective anticancer agent at the University of Fribourg[1] which, according to accurate predictions, should work as a better option than chemotherapy, in order to cure cancer with fewer side effects. Furthermore, he always liked playing the piano and is now in his 7th year at the Conservatoire de Lausanne[3]. Miguel finished his music theory course and his 4th piano exam with an excellent mention. In 2021, Miguel also wrote and published his comic book, going hand in hand with his passion for French literature and for drawing from an early age.

Early Life[edit]

Miguel Teurlings was born in 2006 in Lisbon and lived the first two years of his life in Cascais, Portugal. He was born Portuguese from his mom and Dutch from his dad. he then also gained Swiss nationality after being neutralized in 2023. when he was two years old, he then moved to Switzerland in October 2008 where he started kindergarten in Pomme d'happy[2] in Lausanne before quickly entering the Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande[3] at 4 years old. From a very early age, Miguel knew the career he wanted to take and was eager to pursue it at the University of UNIL[4] located in Lausanne. Another big passion of his is piano which he started playing when he was 5 years old and entered the Conservatoire de Lausanne[3] at the age of 10 in 2016. Miguel stayed in Ecole Nouvelle until 2019 when he decided to move to the International School of Lausanne[5] where he is currently studying and where he will be graduating.
