Sam kayse is a Somali girl, born in Burao District, Somaliland, and l lived there for fourtheen years. In 2011 l attend to a born school that located in the south of . In my free time l like reading fiction novels and playing cards.l also like in my free time to edit wikipedia pages that need help.

Personal story[edit]

I live with my grandmother and l has thirteen siblings. In my childhood l liked always to listen to the stories that my grand mom used to tell me about how the Somaliland elders fought against the colonizers. How Somaliland got back its independence the most formidable thing was that my grand mom used to tell me those stories through the poem that she used to express her feelings towards freedom. l translated her poem to English and l changed it little bit. I live between four walls, Cockroaches and insect became my friends And power became my enemy, like a hungry infant, The darkness and death were in my nightmares, I constantly shouted In the middle of the night when I awoke Yearning for freedom and Hoping that someone will assist me in regaining my liberty.

I feel like a caged bird crying, I couldn’t see anything except the four walls and the diminutive door, At dawn, there was a noise, But when l tried to stand up Some force pulls me back, Reminiscing about the past

Hoping that one day I can overcome the present, I feel like I am attached to something Like a lifejacket being attached to a boat, Not sure of what it is, But, it pulls me back, Day in and day out.

I feel as empty and as hopeless As a note in a bottle drifting in the water As desperate as a starving man searching for food As hopeless as the world will be Once the water runs ut

As Painful as a Mouth without teeth, A child without a mom, Obama without Michelle, Us without God, Me without You.

I’m losing my mind, When I look at a mirror, I ask Who am I? Am I made of glass? Am I made of paper? I believe that I am deceased person still, Completely lost my exceptionality, Freedom is our identity. This poem motives and inspires me and also taught how people die for the sake of the freedom of this country and how l should try as best as l can to work for the peace and the development of this country.

Education[edit]

l finished my primary education in Smart School in Burao and l left Burao after l finished my primary school. l went to a boarding school callled Abaarso Tech(AT) which is located at the South of hargeisa.AT isn't an easy school but in order for someone to success in AT they really have to work extermely hard. we as a AT students we volunteer for teaching kids without not even taking money from them. career[edit]

in the future . I want to be psychologist. I want to help those some people think are psychotic. Actually, many aren’t mad, but they are lack of who are empathetic towards them. Psychologists do a lot of formidable things like understanding emotions; they help people overcome their live challenges. I am particularly interested in helping criminals. Criminal Psychologist is someone who gives a hand to convicts who are being isolated from the rest of the world. This kind of psychologist help the criminals regains their self esteem. These criminals kill others because their compulsion is so strong that they're literally addicted to murder. Psychologist who criminals understand the criminals mind are always prepared to its dangers.
