Marin Chan (born October 16, 1992) is a Chinese poet known for his evocative and introspective works. Born in Sichuan, China, his real name is Shichao Chen, and he adopted the pen name Marin Chan, bestowed upon him by his beloved mother. His literary journey began at a young age when he was enrolled in the Ba Jin Literature Institute during primary school, laying the foundation for his lifelong love affair with words.

Marin draws inspiration from a diverse array of writers, counting Rabindranath Tagore, Pablo Neruda, and Emily Dickinson among his favorites. His writing style is characterized by its freedom from rigid form, allowing his words to flow naturally and unrestrained.

In January 2024, Marin made his literary debut with the publication of his first book through Austin Macauley Publishers, "Us as Eagles: Selected Poetry Collection," marking the commencement of what promises to be a remarkable career.
