Hey! I hate seeing a red link on Wikipedia, and that would include my username up on the top right, so I guess I'll start my userpage. You can call me AJ; I'm currently a grad student and a lifelong resident of the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia, for those of you who I assumed I lived in the Department of Motor Vehicles) and avid reader of Wikipedia. I have years of experience editing for my college newspaper and writing professionally, so, I thought, might as well marry those two interests and help edit Wikipedia! A fun fact about me is that some news articles I've written have been cited here, so, if you were to search my real name, you'd technically find me on Wikipedia! Yes, I'm unreasonably proud of that fact. I may or may not build this page out with infoboxes and more stuff about myself at some point, but until then, pleasure to meet y'all.
