The Sunset Strip murders refers to a span of serial killings committed by Doug Clark and Carol Bundy during the summer of 1980, while the pair were active in the Los Angeles County area of California. Both were arrested in August of the same year, believed to have murdered six or more victims. Both were convicted, with Clark recieving a death sentence and Bundy being imprisoned for the rest of her life. She died of natural causes in 2003, at the age of 61. Most of the victims had been sex workers or underage runaways; the remains of several have never been positively identified.
