Ecmanaut is the Wikipedia identity for Johan Sundström. He is a professional computer programmer and the SVG enthusiast behind the Kilobyte SVG Challenge (http://johan.github.io/kilobyte-svg-challenge/), an often dormant demo and education outreach programme to web developers and anyone curious about SVG.

My presence on Wikipedia is largely focused on improving existing work, such as removing visual artefacts from the axes of the graph http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inglehart%E2%80%93Welzel_cultural_map_of_the_world – but it seems there is a catch-22 about first having to edit ten non-graphics things before my user can improve upon existing images.
