Yellow Pearl (Dutch Band)
Yellow Pearl is a Dutch pop/rock/soul band with several radio hits and a strong live reputation (they did more than 1000 live shows between 2003 and 2023). The band has been signed to Sony/BMG and Universal. The first single "For you and Me" was an instant radio hit after their TV performance (watched by 2.5 mil. people) to go to the Eurovision Song Contest for Holland. The band is one of the few acts that has performed twice in a sold out Paradiso (Dutch rock temple) within a 6 months period. The have opened up for Thin Lizzy and Mother's Finest. The band also performed on the BBC concept television show Top of the Pops, Zwarte Cross (one of the biggest Dutch music festivals) and Eurosonic/Noorderslag. They hold the all-time record for most live performances on Radio 3FM. The summer single "Temptation" became the 5 star track of DJ Gerard Ekdom of Radio 2 (Holland's #1 Radio station) and was also featured under the summerpromo for the best watched Dutch television station NPO1 TV (Holland's #1 TV station), around 6 times per day, for 60 days. For their single "Without Your Love" they worked together with Kevin Anyaeji (Frank Ocean, Nicki Minaj, Akon, The Script). In December 2022 they released the song OneLove together with Dutch artist Noah Jaora. Theso, the song was written for the World Cup 2022, for the OneLove campaign started by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB). The OneLove campaign will use the power of football to promote inclusion and send a message against discrimination of any kind, anywhere in the world...The campaign will continue in 2023 and beyond. This song is also about the celebration of diversity and the strenght of humanity,... OneLove...[1]
