Dark Chaos, known by the titles of The Death Bringer, The Demonic Lord, The Dragonic Lord, The Kaotic Kitsune and The Conqueror of Champions. Dark Chaos the character is the avatar of Dark Chaos when he RP's (the character will sometimes go by the name of just chaos, or the alternate spelling of Kaos or Xaos).

Back-story[edit]
Shourisha Hasha was born into the Light Clan of the Onem race. He was born into the position of becoming a high mage, and like all of them before his birth he was infused with a series of nano-machine's to allow him to use all forms of technology at will. Being raised to be a high mage for as long as he could remember, Shourisha resented the role he was born into and harburd much hatred towards those around him. Over the years while being raised to be a Light High mage Shourisha gained some of the great power the mages had access to. With more training this power grew, but due to his growing hatred that power gave birth to a dark magic that he in-avertedly used and destroyed a small building, however since this building housed an old power generator it was believed to be the generator and no one suspected this dark power within Shourisha. Eventually he learned to use this power in secret and find ways to control and suppress it.
A year after the accident Shourisha was taught about different aspects of the universe, and different beliefs on everything. After learning the complexities of effects leading to different results and the temporal effects on action in the past being changed Shourisha began to question what makes people chose to make those actions. Because of this they taught him about fate, but this left a larger question. If fate stops you picking something else, then how could alternate futures even exist? Shourisha realised the two things he was taught were opposites. Over the following months he slowly began to realise that both fate and free-will will exist at once. "You are fated to a path in life, but you chose which one from all the possibilities." after realising this those teaching him in the shrine were pleased he realised this and knew he was destined to be a High Mage of the order of Light.
After hearing those words the concept of having both free will and fated to a path intrigued Shourisha to the point he spent more and more time researching more on how the two exist. Then he realised something he had seen in several books, 'Chaos' the name given to what can not be controlled. He continued to read more until he realised that there really was order to the nature of Chaos. 'If we have our own free will to choose what path to take, and that choice has random effects, then the order to chaos... was will. However our will could not be the factor. Ours only controlled our destinies. So what was the will that chose every event? That chose every movement of every particle in the universe?' Those thoughts ravaged Shourisha mind until he came to the point that all reality is controlled by chaos and that there are three factors to it. Space to control the particles; time to control to pathways of the timeline; and will to choose how the others are to work and maybe even set events into play. After realising this Shourisha started to gain a better understanding of his own dark powers and realised they were not something to fear, mealy to either control or be controlled by. With the inspiration of his new discoveries of the cosmos it self Shourisha began to work on controlling his dark and light powers as so that he won't ever be controlled by them. Shourisha decided to be like the true nature of Chaos, and control the power he had. Chaos could not ever be controlled by anything... and now... Shourisha could not ever be controlled by anything.
After some years one of the High Mages that felt Shourisha was destined for greatness went to see him to begin the days training, however when reaching Shourisha the mage sensed something, 'out of order'. Upon reaching Shourisha's private chamber the mage witnessed him with an aura of sky-blue reaching out from his body in the form of streams. At this moment the mage knew Shourisha really was destined for greatness, in order to use the power without ever entering the shrine. However after a second the aura changed to dark-red and the mage realised that just as Shourisha had the power of the light shrine without ever entering the shrine of light, he also had the power of the dark shrine without even entering the city that housed the dark shrine. The mage decided to let Shourisha's power remain unknown in order to let him choose which destiny he wished to follow.
Upon reaching his seventeenth birthday Shourisha was allowed access to the great power of the High Mages, he entered the holy shrine to be given the power the High Mages had access to for years. However upon entering the holy shrine the sky-blue aura changed to a dark red and began to send a strange energy into Shourisha causing him pain. A few seconds later the aura changed to blue and red, sending energy attuned to both light and dark, each side of power fighting for dominance within Shourisha's body. As the High Mage's watched in horror they could not believe that one of their citizens, one who had been trained since young child-hood could have a tainted heart. At first the mage who witnessed Shourisha's light and dark aura began to wonder if they should have done something but knew that they had made their choice and could not say anything now. After hours of this going on the High Mages were unable to do anything until both the blue and red auras faded. The mage's knew that light and dark were equal, but were confused as to why Shourisha's heart would be equal and not choose a side. Then it happened, the two auras lit up again and blended into a single aura that then entered Shourisha’s body. At that point he fell from the shrine completely weakened.
Days passed and when he awoke the High Mages requested to talk to him. They tested his power and found traces of darkness with powers of light. Because of this he could never become a High Mage of the Temple of Light. In fact, if he could or would not give up this power would be forced to leave the city. That night the mage that saw Shourisha's power years ago came forwards and revealed they knew all alone. Then the mage said how he was destined for greatness, even if it’s not within the city. The mage showed him to the shrine of Light and opened a hidden path known only to the High Mages. After going deeper and deeper they entered an older shrine that was protected by a dark aura. The mage told him to enter and retrieve the artefact that would be of aid to him. Shourisha entered and walked through the aura with no resistance. After walking up the steps to the top Shourisha found sitting on the top the ancient weapon of the Onem race, the mythical Reikon Edge, and on either side two broken artefacts, one of the light high mages and one of the dark high mages, each showing signs of once holding great power, but no longer. He reached for the Reikon Edge and felt horror and pain. He kept hold for what seemed like hours until it subsided. The Reikon Edge had chosen Shourisha as its master. At this point he then felt peace, a calm understanding, the gift of the great sword of light and dark.
The next day he was forced to leave, but as he was leaving people called out to him and told the High Mages escorting him out of the city to stop. After a few minutes of these people blocking the way a young woman holding a shroud walked up to Shourisha and handed it to him and said, "sir, this gift is from the priestess. She hopes it will lead you on your path, and that whether the path is of light of dark... may this help you pick the path you wish". He un-wrapped it to reveal to reveal a weapon used by the guardian paladins of the city, a Metadian Blade. He took the weapon, and bowed in respect to the young woman and tied the weapon to the right of his waist in its shroud, with the Reikon Edge in a shroud tied to the left of his waist. The High Mages then escorted him outside of the city until the mystical mists appeared behind him, now if he turned around and walked away knowing he'd never re-enter the city unless he was allowed in by the High Mages and/or the Royalties.
After leaving the mountain range Shourisha continued to walk out knowing he was in a world he never knew, a world he could have never been thought about due to how the mystic powers cut the Sanctuary city of the light clan of Onem off from the rest of the world. He decided to try and remain neutral in the world and avoid taking part in any major events. However that would be far more difficult, the powers within Shourisha and the Reikon Edge will eventually attract forces of both light and dark to him, whether he wants them to or not. Due to his Onem blood Shourisha knew he would live longer than anyone else he would meet and so in an attempt to separate himself from the world and train his mind, body and powers Shourisha ventured to the most desolate ice deserts on the planet. Shourisha's appreciation for the elements of ice helped to build up a resistance to it, even up to the point of getting stronger from the cold it self.

Dark Realm[edit]
His control over the basic essence of chaos allows him to move into a parallel reality. This reality is identical to the real world except there are no artificial structures. However Dark Chaos can 'pull' a duplicate of something into his realm. This can be anything from a bench or large buildings or even if he wished people. Using this technique he could bring duplicates of people through and torture them for information, when it fails he'd repeat it until he found a method that worked. When he tires of something in this realm he mealy needs to think it and that object will cease to exist.
The light of this realms sun is a blood red which is faded to a light red with the atmosphere of the planet. Just being in this realm has incredible healing effects on Dark Chaos and the planet here will restore his health regardless of what may have happened to him. Just by charging energy Dark Chaos can produce a light to let him see into his original realm, a method used to be sure no one is around when he comes through or to collect intelligence information on an unknown force. Due to the lack of artificial structures over most the planet Dark Chaos will sometimes just come here in order to travel from one point to another since in cities it means going straight through where buildings may be blocking his path.
The Real Dark Chaos[edit]
Personality[edit]
Dark Chaos tries to remain neutral in conflicts, and if he ever takes a side it will be with someone he thinks is in the right for that situation. He is not above siding with someone he hates if this is the reason. Extremely loyal and honourable, Dark Chaos dose in fact live by a code of honour. The downside to his personality however is his seriousness and logic. Dark Chaos has admitted that he is unable to take a side so much that he can not even give a complement about someone appearance; "What dose it matter how they look? Good day, bad day, attractive, repulsive? It just doesn’t matter to me." Based on this kind of thinking and his personal standards he refuses to insult or complement someone directly about their looks (however he dose attempt to find loopholes, in even his own logic).
His language is also different from many others, Dark Chaos attempts to improve his spelling and use as accurate language as possible whenever he can, all the while remaining neutral. This has once resulted in a misunderstanding with someone who thought he was highly arrogant. Dark Chaos also refuses to not only swear/curse in any form, but he also refuses to use crude and offensive language as well. This "self limited vocabulary has affected both his text and speech communication skills. Dark Chaos dose not feel like he has the right to talk to another person whenever they are busy doing anything and will wait till they are finished out of respect. However he sees them doing something all the time, even if it is sitting somewhere not visibly doing anything or being around people he will take that to mean they wish to be alone or in a quiet environment. This results in him rarely ever starting a conversation unless it is absolutely necessary or if he has to talk to them as part of his role as a Student Union Officer. He also suffers from a form of paranoia (however it is not technically paranoia due to the strange way that it is always correct. Dark Chaos is also self hating.
Additional: for some reason members of Dark Chaos's family have had premonitions. Whether or not it is coincidence is unknown, but he has been aware of an unknown negative event prior to it happening. His mother has also dealt with this on occasion and missed a train once as a result... the train crashed.
Honourable Combat[edit]
Dark Chaos has an affinity for armed combat. However it's not really the combat aspect of it, it's the art form and self confidence one must have to ensure not only their own survival but their own safety. Among his favourite weapons are twin short swords and/or long swords, Japanese swords, the quarterstaff, the pole arm: Naginata and armour based melee weapons (like gauntlets).
The Vampire[edit]
Years ago a large number of people who knew Dark Chaos called him a vampire due to several small reasons. First of all being his pale skin (though now it may not seem very pale, that is mealy his forearms and face), secondly being that it hurt to be in sunlight. Technically it wasn't the sunlight that hurt him as much as it was the heat that slowed him down. However the sun did hurt his eye's to the point they sting quite badly. Another reason for his reference to a vampire was his prominent fangs. Dark Chaos's upper fans could be seen slightly more then the rest of his teeth. However over the years his fangs chipped slightly and began to wear down. However the most important reason for the vampire reference was that he enjoyed the taste of blood. In fact Dark Chaos was seen on multiple occasions drinking blood in public. However he is not into drinking blood, he only consumes his own blood whenever he cuts himself by accident. It just happened that it happened quite often for a while that he had gained the nickname of 'Vampire' (despite that though he really dose enjoy the taste of blood).
Artist[edit]
As an artist Dark Chaos is not exactly one of the best, and among those in his family he is defiantly never going to be the best. He has shown in his art the inability to draw anything unique. All he has been able to do is mimic (imperfectly) what he sees. This can be seen on his DeviantArt page with his pictures of Rei Ayanami, Tsunami and Mana. Strangely he has only been able to draw female anime character with any luck. the only other thing he has draw well was a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog and a collection of several characters seen in Sonic the Comic when he was about 8 years old (again, mimic's of the original pictures).
He has attempted to improve his art via digital means and continues to line and colour sketches whenever he can. However this is limited to the sketches that are given to him.
Sprite Artist[edit]
Dark Chaos enjoys working with sprites, however he has only been good at making his own avatar sprites. Every so often though he is unsure if the sprite is any good and will ask a friends opinion on what he should do to make it look more natural. His custom avatar sprites are based on the Megaman Zero body form.
College[edit]
Dark Chaos first attended South Downs College while still in school as part of the schools project. He studied Part time ICT courses for two years. After leaving School he went on to that college in order to study GNVQ ICT Intermediate, however they wouldn't let him in on the course and he had to study Foundation level first. After completing the course he signed up for the Intermediate course, however was rejected and not allowed to return to the college the following year. He was informed that he apparently intimidated a couple of his lecturers. Instead he went over to Highbury College to study the Intermediate course, a choice he regrets. Hating the learning environment, Dark Chaos was unwilling to quit and persevered. After finishing the gaining the qualification he was accepted back into South Downs college again. This time on the ICT for Work course, that was exclusive to South Downs. During this year he went on to assist with The Student Union. Again completing another course successfully Dark Chaos felt he needed a break from computers and signed up for GNVQ Media Intermediate.
During this new year he joined The Student Union as a full officer and again, did his best in a new department he wasn't used to working with. He once again completed the course. After that he signed up for the BTEC Media Moving Image Pathway at South Downs, a two year course and yet again joined as a Student Union Officer. He completed the first year of his but is disappointed with how he did not succeed in trying to be a little more social when compared to the year before.
Currently he is a continuing part time student in multiple colleges and continues to try to remain in education for as long as possible.

Online Games[edit]
Star Kingdoms: Dark Chaos played through several games on Star Kingdoms, becoming system leader three times and vice system leader most the others. However he left the game during Game14 when those in the system he had become leader of started sending abusive messages to him regarding his 'leadership skills'. His defence was simply that he had a majority vote agreeing to take the action, or he asked if anyone disagreed for an action and no one did so.
Diablo II: Lord of Darkness: His main character is a Necromancer. His is unique in that he has only used 30 skill points. This has resulted in 34 unused skill points. This allows his Necro to go on to become almost any type of Necro he may wish. Due to the aid for skill boosting items all of his skills are at level 8. He also holds all but two of the Trang-Ouls set.
Counter Strike: Rarely played, Dark Chaos has few to play with. His preferred weapon is the Magnum Rifle and playing as the SAS.
Red Alert 2: A fan of RTS games since KKND he prefers to play this genre against humans rather than an AI more then he would play another genre of game against a human.
Halo: Being a long time fan of Plasma weapons, Dark Chaos has always preferred to use twin Plasma Rifles. Well aware of the advantage of ridding foes of shields AND the downside of physical damage, he makes sure to carry a human weapon as a secondary (normally a magnum). His overall preferred method of playing however is using the Ghost for strafe shooting, ramming, or quick movement for recon.
Phantasy Star Online: Dark Chaos played this game when it was first released on the SEGA Dreamcast. His main character was a HUnewearl named Dark Chaos (he also had a RAcast and a FOnewearl also sharing the name). Dark Chaos was fond of the Skyly ID. He also has characters on PSO Episode 1&2 and Episode 3, however he dose not have online ability. He has only ever played PSO online with Version 1 for the Dreamcast and never got Version 2.0. He still has his VMU with his HUnewearl at lv.99, he refused to Level up to 100 (which only requires him to kill one Claw on Very Hard) because of how he did not want people to distrust him for being max level and still playing.

Yu-Gi-Oh[edit]
Dark Chaos collects and plays Yu-Gi-Oh Trading card game. Among his favourite monsters cards are: the Dark Magician Girl (however it is no longer used in his deck), Red Eyes Black Dragon and Victory viper XX03. He likes the Dark Magician Girl because he sees it more as a representation of his hatred of the Dark Magician rather than support for it (seeing the effect with the following statement: "the more dark Magician's I kill the stronger she gets." OR "She gets stronger for killing Dark Magician's"). His main deck is a 'Chaos' themed deck of LIGHT & DARK. It's original purpose was Life Point Manipulation. In the past his Life Points could raise to over 20,000 in two of his turns. Currently he owns several decks, however none of them can stand up in official competition.

Real Name?[edit]
Dark Chaos has done everything within his power to avoid all reference of his real name being mentioned online. This has lead to a few people trying everything they can to find out what his real name is. However they have had very little luck, and those that get anywhere close only do so because he allows them to, but may not want them to find out. He has gone by the name of Dark Chaos for so long he has even lost track of the time. Although he never claims to be the first to use the name though, he will mention that he was one of the first to use the name online (with the spelling Dark Chaos, and not substituting letters for numbers or symbols). What he dose say though is that he is the first to use the name Dark Chaos with the reason he chose the name.
Forums[edit]
Direct-Downloads[edit]
Dark Chaos joined Direct Downloads in 2000. Posting in many of the forums under general and gaming Dark Chaos was not seen as a prominent member due to the overall number of members. However after nearly two years the forums closed down. According to information released the host did not like the use of ROMs on the server. After a few months the forums returned under the name GiveUpAlready (GUA), this was a joke in reference to the number of people asking for ROMs, the response to such requests was to just give up already. Dark Chaos along with the majority returned to the forums. During this time an aspect of Dark Chaos became noticeable to another member known as Demonic. Demonic had noticed Dark Chaos's custom user title of The Demonic Lord. This resulted in a number of posts between the two where Demonic spoke about how Dark Chaos is not his Lord. This resulted in a small joke that a couple of members looked back at for a few years.
Shortly after GUA's launch Valkhorn made arrangements for GUA to be the official forum for the browser based RPG, Kings of Chaos (KoC). At first many members liked the idea (Dark Chaos included), they even tried playing the game. However after no more than a month the members of the KoC community (KoCers) who joined GUA began random posting and disregarded many of the less enforced rules, and soon began to spam the forums. Not too long after this the KoC members had gained a reputation for being highly offensive (however this is of course not all of the members of KoC). Because of this many well respected members from Direct-Downloads and the Pre-KoC GUA left. Dark Chaos did not leave GUA with the bulk of the members, however he also could not stand the offensive nature of many of the KoC members of the Post-KoC GUA. Not too long later Dark Chaos was in contact with a former member of GUA, Ex-Death, who invited him to a new forum that was mostly comprised of Ex-Pre-KoC GUA members, Demonic Forums.
Dark Chaos continued to be a full time member of GUA until 2003. At this time he left the forums full time. However He later returned to the forums in 2004 out of respect for another member, Saria. From this point he only posted in her signature thread Saria's Treehouse. Later he joined a similar thread, Vulpecula's Forest (created by another Kitsune based member Vulpecula) and then later joining the signature thread of Ceres. Dark Chaos is now only a part time member of GUA, but is recognised by many of the older members. He now bares the banner of the old forums Direct-Downloads in his signature as a form of remembrance of the old days of GUA. Dark Chaos has only joined one of GUA's clans, Akastuki (aka Redmoon) and is frequently in the clans thread and IRC channel.
Demonic Corruption[edit]
When invited to join another forum from an Ex-GUA member, Dark Chaos was directed to Demonic forums. Joining other Ex-GUA members, Dark Chaos posted about general topics and video games more then any others. One of the main topics the members referenced was what happened to GUA and how it went downhill. Later Dark Chaos joined the forums, Corruption. However this forum was mostly comprised of almost the same members with only a few members in each forum that was not in the other. After about six months of joining Demonic forums, the two forums began a merger. Later the two forums became Demonic Corruption Forums.
However this forum was short lived after a while died. After a few months of nothing to do Dark Chaos received another invitation to join a new forum from the same member as before, only now Ex-Death was going by the name Marth-kun and this time he asked Dark Chaos to join Final fantasy Blitz (or FF-Blitz). Dark Chaos had gained the positions of Super Moderator in each version of the forums.
Final Fantasy Blitz aka FF-Blitz[edit]
After joining FF-Blitz, Dark Chaos posted in a large number of this Final Fantasy dedicated site. At first he was hesitant joining a forum dedicated to a single theme like Final Fantasy. However considering most of his VG threads in Demonic Corruption had been either Final Fantasy or Sonic based he joined anyway. After joining Dark Chaos discovered that FF-Blitz was now the home of many of the older GUA member he knew from Demonic Corruption (among which were Ex-Death, now Marth-kun, RPGFan and Demonic). He attempted joining in some of the RP's, including the sites very own forum based role playing version of Blitzball and joined the clan Dark Eulogy. During this time Dark Chaos eventually became a Super Moderator of the forums.
As FF-Blitz went on Dark Chaos posted in a majority of the forums, however when the forums were closed for a short time he joined the temp forums for the mean time. After the sites return Final Fantasy Blitz joined with Final Fantasy Archives to create Final Fantasy Community (the idea of this became a long running 'ABC' joke about the next forums being FF-D). After the closure of FFC Jecht (the owner of FF-B and co-owner of FF-C) wanted to evolve the forums into a non-FF based community in order to attract new members, the result of this was Fainte.
Fainte[edit]
Truly an evolution from FF-Blitz/FF-C, Fainte forums offer's a large number of services. At first however Fainte has a habit of closing down a lot and this lost a large number of Fainte’s former FF-Blitz/FF-C hundreds of members. Dark Chaos was among those to return each time after the forums had been down. To help boost activity Dark Chaos started the Fainte the Sprite Comic project (aka FSC). At first several member contributed to the idea of sprite comics based around the forums members. Currently the main contributors are Dark Chaos himself, Bonemasher and Jace.
Dark Chaos later went on to become the Anime Moderator (a title giving to a Super Moderator whose priority was the Anime forums of Fainte). In an attempt to help new members joining, Dark Chaos even went as far to create a Fainte MySpace page. Currently Dark Chaos is highly active and considers Fainte to be his main forums. Dark Chaos is currently an Administrator of Fainte
Currently he is attempting to bring back Fainte forums, however it has not been an easy task.

Evil[edit]
"As a race we see evil as being what is wrong with the world, however what one considers evil is what another considers good. To this end everything that someone say's is evil is mealy another form of good. Wars are declared because someone thinks it’s the best cause of action for the greater good.
Never has there been a true form of evil that has done something that everyone considers evil. To this end the words of good and evil are truly meaningless. They are essential codes & conventions of a society, nothing more. However the core or persona of evil, like good is misunderstood. If all things we consider to be evil is really another viewpoint of good, then what could evil be?
Following that real evil can only truly be neutral. Something that is not going to take sides, or even care. Something that doesn’t care what good dose, even making evil to be misunderstood. The meaning that is commonly given to the word evil really good, where-as the real meaning for the word evil would be neutral or fair."
Religion[edit]
Dark Chaos is not religious himself, but has read into different religions on multiple occasions. Although he dose not believe in a single all mighty god, he is open to the possibility of there being multiple gods and goddesses. However he will never claim that there ‘’are’’ any such god’s or goddesses, just as as he would not claim that there ‘’are’’ Demons and Oni. He would never claim there are such beings, mealy admit the possibility that they ‘’may’’ exist.
