Thank you for looking at my page, if you are somewhat interested in anthropology, ethnology, linguistics, or whatever is related to all of that, I need your help, so please leave something on my page :)

I'm mostly knowledgeable when it comes Flemish and Belgian customs (aka culture) from an outsider perspective. I started this page because I think that most content on Belgium, in general, but especially when it comes to customs in all its many forms, is of low quality and basically meant to make Flemish people seem more Dutch than they really are, rather than to be accurate. I'm biased in favor of Belgian nationalism, meaning I don't want Flanders to be annexed by the Netherlands at all, and I'm also not keen on seeing them become independent (although that would be more preferable than the former option). This bias may or may not show from time to time in my edits, although I try hard not to be influenced by it.

I'm a WikiOgre, which means, I think, that Wikipedia editing is only a passing interest for me. Occasionally I'll go off on an editing spree which oftentimes then gets reverted because A: I'm not very familiar with the many rules of Wikipedia and B: perhaps some of those reverts are illegitimate, but I don't have the energy to fight them.
