I'm a college professor, former journalist and software industry writer, online for more than 20 years, now teaching journalism and media studies courses, maintaining various websites and blogs. On a different computer, I originally signed in as Wikipedia user "Bstepno," then misplaced that configuration for some months before resurrecting it. With a half dozen computers in my life, I've inadvertently left one or another logged in with either of these names. However, because I drop in from several locations, computers and browsers, I sometimes make quick edits without logging in.
