Hello and welcome to my user page!

I started on Wikipedia after a college class opened my eyes to how easy it is to contribute to the platform, and how much work remains to be done. My experiences since then have taught me how important it is for information to be not only accessible, but readily available and accurate. Adding to Wikipedia is thus a way for me to give back to the world while also learning more about areas I'm interested in. Some of my realms of interest are broad, like history and literature, while others are definitely very niche passion projects (I think my first-ever edit was on the Barbie (film series) page -- those movies were a big part of my childhood!). No matter what the subject area, I'm committed to Wikipedia remaining a neutral and accurate source of information.

I'd like to continue on Wikipedia more consistently, and contribute to the Women in Red WikiProject and #1day1woman challenge.
