Disputed claims[edit]

Nationality. He claims to be ethnically Azeri; he wrote to OTRS to get claims removed from his page that he's Iranian. Some people keep putting that back.
Religion. Someone wants to make him a Shia Muslim; no citations given.
Website. Some want only samiyusuf.com there (Awakening Records controlled); others want only samiyusufofficial.com (probably himself); others want both.
Third album (released by Awakening). Some want it in, some want it out.
Fourth album. No documentation that it even exists.
Attendance at Istanbul concert. 200-250K is documented; some people lop off a zero.
