I am a current Carnegie Mellon University student, Class of 2009. I am double-majoring in Computer Science and Human-Computer Iteraction. I am interested in the integration of technology into society.

I am a recipient of the Carnegie Mellon University Judith Resnik-Challenger Scholarship, as well as a United States Presidential Scholarship Semifinalist. I have received the Harvard University Scholarship Excellence Award and the Rochester Institute of Technology Computing Medal.

I am currently a member of Carnegie Mellon's Women at the School of Computer Science (W@SCS). I also run the W@SCS Big Sister/Little Sister program, and am the W@SCS Web Team leader. I play Ultimate Frisbee and have 3 black belts (2 in different styles of karate and 1 in traditional martial arts weaponry).
