DESCRIPTION[edit]
Gurmeet Singh’s trajectory into the legal arena was far from traditional. After investing three years in engineering and obtaining an MBA, he felt an unshakable void. “I was raised in the area where Engineering was the accepted norm. In fact, my father being an Executive Engineer, we lived in a colony ,which was colloquially called ‘The Engineers’ colony. But despite having worked as an Engineer for about three years, I sensed that something was missing from my life,” he shares .Singh’s decision to forge a career in law was met with raised eyebrows. “Nobody wanted me to be an advocate. People thought advocates were the clever lot,” he laughs, shedding light on the challenges of breaking away from the familial expectations. Undeterred, he followed his passion, inspired by his role model, the legendary Ram Jeth Malani, and then six years back. he established his law firm, SINGHLEGAL ASSOCIATES.
