Early life[edit]
Yau was born in Quincy a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, to Chinese immigrant parents. His family moved to Boston, during his childhood.
Poker career[edit]
Yau attended university near Boston. Inspired by famed poker vloggers Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme, Yau created his YouTube channel “Rampage” and started posting videos in January 2018. His initial vlogs were hand reviews of low stakes cash game sessions played at the Encore Boston Harbor. Unlike his current vlogs that contain table footage of hands, his initial videos did not contain table footage as filming is not allowed at that casino.
Yau has amassed significant success in both tournament and live cash game formats. He has won one WSOP bracelet as well as 6 WSOP Circuit rings. His highest single tournament win was for $894,240 won in the WPT $25,000 + 200 No Limit Hold'em - High Roller tournament held at the Wynn Las Vegas on 12 Dec 2022. He is also a regular on the Hustler Casino Live(HCL) poker streams and has achieved much success in these streams as well.
