Achatina achatina, the giant tiger land snail, is an rare species of Achatina.
Timeline[edit]
2030: Before 2035, this species was very widespread and inhabited most areas in the world as an invasive species.
2040: After the dust settled, the species was nowhere to be found and was thought extinct.
2043: The species was formally declared extinct.
2047: The species is dramatically rediscovered in one of the areas it was invasive in. It is now endemic to this area (the location of which is kept private for safety of the species)
2051: A captive breeding program for rare Achatina species is set up and this species joins the breeding program.
2057: The first reintroductions begin.
