Torkaman (Persian: تركمان), also Romanized as Torkamān,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Torkaman Rural District of the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 171 in 40 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 394 people in 117 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 123 people in 38 households.[2]
