Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to [[:{{{1}}}]]. This is because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thank you.

- @Anna Frodesiak: Looks good to me! I've added it. Please do copy edit this as much as you want - it's you that's going to be using it most, after all. - Happy to see you like it, Mr. Stradivarius. Actually, I think it will be quite widely used. I've seen lots of others move userpages to draft space. I haven't the skill to monkey with parameters. I've never really used the Draft namespace, I always do my drafting in userspace anyway, but does this mean no users are supposed to write drafts in the Draft namespace? And if so, why is it called the Draft namespace?
I think it may be worth rewording this so it is clear to newbies (as well as confused oldies like myself) why exactly a particular draft may be moved. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 11:10, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Amakuru. It is used when somebody writes a draft at their userpage. The draft, via a script, gets moved to draft space and this template gets put on their user talk to let them know.

- Because a draft at a userpage can appear as web hosting, the preferred place is the draft space. It may be a better place than in a user subpage because I think draft space pages eventually get reviewed and handled in some way. That means that a viable draft in a user subpage may remain thereforever, where a draft that gets abandoned could eventually become an article. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:31, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, I see! Sorry I misunderstood, I thought articles were being moved from Draft to userspace. So am I wrong to develop articles in my userspace? Unlike a collaborative draft, mine are generally not article-ready when I'm working on them, the page is arranged as a workshop, and I don't expect anyone else to contribute until I've got it to the basic state for starting the main article.
