Thanks for the feedback (re: reverting back to director content). In adding material, I was influenced by this template for Joan Rivers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Joan_Rivers Most of the contents prior to the reversion were similar (in adding people who had worked with the subject, I was being bold). I had looked for a styleguide for these templates and could not find where they are located. Do you know? I'm not going to revert your edit. Thanks for the feedback. @Classicfilms: No problem; my revert was kind of brusque, so I hope you didn't take it personally. WP:NAVBOX, particularly WP:PERFNAV and WP:FILMNAV, has more guidelines about navigation templates. I have a smiliar desire to create templates compiling all of a performer's work, but, as WP:NAVBOX points out, that would lead to pages having numerous navboxes, possibly giving too much weight to a performer or a particular performance. For example, Avengers: Endgame currently has 12 navboxes; imagine if every major actor appearing also had one! Trivialist (talk) 00:23, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

@Trivialist: First of all- THANK YOU for pointing me to WP:NAVBOX, particularly WP:PERFNAV and WP:FILMNAV - for the life of me, I could not find these styleguides. I ended up looking at a number of infoboxes on biographies and went from there. After reading the actual styleguides, I see now how they work. And no, no - I didn't take it personally - after 16 years on the WP, there is very little that I take personally. And it's always great to figure out another aspect of the styleguides. Thanks however for the kind words. The main article (biography) that the navbox refers to needed a tremendous amount of clean-up and so whatever is added to move in that direction is great. It still needs a lot of work - depending on when I can find time and if others want to help - I see it as a potential GAC - but down the road. And just a P.S. - I'm currently working offline on reformatting the television list and tracking down all of the related references on the main biography. That should be finished sometime this week. update: second attempt at expanding template

Limiting the template for this article name is misleading, as it implies that the subject has only directed three films. In other words, there are more articles that fit within the guidelines than just the three films directed by the subject Henry Winkler. Thus, after reviewing WP:NAVBOX, particularly WP:PERFNAV and WP:FILMNAV (as mentioned above), I have once again attempted to expand the template. Please discuss here before reverting.
