Output error[edit]

Hey, just a note that the use of {{Xt}} is causing trouble in the output of the notice when a blocked user actually tries to edit. The xt template emits an error because it isn't meant to be used in articles (and this is being shown in the article namespace so that's what the template thinks). Here's what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/Il4A2Fu.png. Opencooper (talk) 17:48, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 14 February 2018[edit]

This template has a "Multiline table in list" lint error. Please fix it. Anomalocaris (talk) 10:00, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. — JJMC89(T·C) 15:20, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
JJMC89: Sorry for wasting your time. The "Multiline table in list" lint error was external to this template. —Anomalocaris (talk) 21:38, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 15 December 2021[edit]

You meant the verb "log in" instead of the noun "login". Source: GrammaristEthanGaming7640, Counter-Vandalism Unit 14:36, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Xaosflux: looks like you accidently changed 'editing' to 'ediFting' in the process --Nintendofan885T&Cs apply 10:02, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Nintendofan885: thanks for the note, fixed. — xaosflux Talk 10:59, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 4 February 2024[edit]

Please change the sentence "Registered users, however, are still able to edit." into "Registered users, however, can usually still edit." in the "Wikipedia tries to be open..." paragraph, and replace the instruction under "If you have an account (registered user):" with "Please make sure you are logged in to your account. If you are unable to edit while logged in, you may request IP block exemption to bypass blocks unconnected with you that affect your editing. Post an unblock request to your user talk page." (from Template:CheckUser block, or other similar messages may be used). While checking for some other pages, I have noticed a hard block imposed against an IP range linking to this template; since any editor connected to any of the hard blocked IP addresses can't edit (even if logged in), the current "Please log in to edit" instruction won't work for them.
