This navbox category is redirected because its target category is already meant to contain navbox (navigational) templates. Other template types for this topic (infoboxes, amboxes, etc.) should have their own named categories there ("Category:...infobox templates", "Category:...ambox templates", etc.), listed before any other subcategories.
