Yokohama Dreamland Monorail[edit]

Abandoned Ōfuna station of the Yokohama Dreamland Monorail, 1984

  • ... that after operating for a single year, the Yokohama Dreamland Monorail spent 35 years awaiting repair or replacement before it was finally demolished?

Interesting! The length/newness is fine. Some of the references are bare URLs. Can you give more detail of them and use something like trans_title? I don't know if http://f40.cc/dream/index.html counts as a reliable source. Secretlondon (talk) 21:00, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
I've converted the refs to use the Cite web template and added trans_title (didn't even know about that option!). f40.cc/dream seems very reliable as far as I can tell, they even include a long list of copies of original sources (newspaper articles etc); unfortunately they don't reference individual items back, so converting to the original sources is quite a pain. But I've converted a bunch of references to point to one of them, namely the detailed Yomiuri Shinbun article reporting on the final abandonment, so the hook no longer relies on f40.cc at all. • Needs a reviewer to check on references and other issues mentioned above. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:40, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
  • As far as i can tell: looks good, but maybe need a second opinion... J'nese refs confirm, though i'm still learning ref protocol... but i added an English ref from Japan Times that confirms a few details (not sure i entered those properly thoug). hope it's helpful.Penwatchdog (talk) 19:55, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
