Samantha Buck and Marie Schlingmann

  • Comment: While I think the notable film festivals in alt0 are known enough that student film at both is impressive, I recall Gerda noting she'd never heard of SXSW so I don't mind if it gets ruled out. No images of Schlingmann, but there's some really good ones of Buck (this one in article)

  • Just a comment because my name was called. Nothing wrong with the original hook because the festival is linked! - My reservation is only if not, as in the case leading to a general discussion. I'd prefer the original because it does justice to both ladies. I may eventually review but right now look for something fast and easy ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:21, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
  • On the face of it, this article is new enough and long enough. I say that because I removed a tag dated August 2019 which seemed illogical. Was part of it moved or copied from another article? I am approving on the basis that all of it is new. The hook facts are cited inline and any of the hooks could be used, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. • The filmography existed at Samantha Buck, which was a stub without any text. Since tables (and infoboxes) aren't counted in DYK prose, I didn't think that would be a problem. Kingsif (talk) 09:36, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Filmographies always need some kind of a source for DYK, and not IMDB.com. The television episodes might be sourced to TV Guide; the films to the AFI catalog or the British Film Institute. Yoninah (talk) 11:04, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Would Rotten Tomatoes work as a source - such as here? SL93 (talk) 11:30, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
  • @SL93: I'm not sure, but I've never used it. I usually search Google Books for film biographies that give the cast lists and production crews for films. Yoninah (talk) 01:38, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
  • @Kingsif: what are you doing about sourcing the charts? Yoninah (talk) 19:53, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
Suddenly remembering and keeping this page open until I do it, hopefully later today. I just got some time, so I'll go over my watchlist etc. first :) Kingsif (talk) 20:25, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
@Yoninah: We should be good: I found a lot more works to add while looking for sources, and only had to remove one, I think, when I couldn't find an RS. Kingsif (talk) 21:43, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Thank you! Since this is not GA, one or two unsourced entries in a chart that's otherwise sourced doesn't bother me much. Restoring tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 00:12, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
