Paul Prudhomme[edit]

Paul Prudhomme, photographed in 2008

  • ... that in 2008, chef Paul Prudhomme (pictured) was hit by a bullet while catering a golf tournament?
  • Reviewed: White Coke
  • Comment: The auto DYK check will get thrown off by an uncited version of the article which appeared back in 2008.

  • Alt1:... that commercial fishing of the redfish was restricted to prevent its extinction after chef Paul Prudhomme (pictured) popularised it in a dish? Miyagawa (talk) 21:38, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm new at this reviewing DYKs, but this one looks like it doesn't qualify; expansion is only a little over three-fold. Rnickel (talk) 19:25, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
  • How are you calculating that expansion? The prosesize tool tells me that it went from 1167 characters to 5849, a 5.01x expansion. Chris857 (talk) 22:28, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
OK, well, as long as the length is good, everything else seems fine. The changes were recent enough; the article is good overall as far as sources, tone, etc.; the hook is clearly interesting and is immediately cited in the body of the article; the citation supports the hook; I spot checked five or six of the sources and there's no copyvio that I could find; and the "QPQ" is done.
