James W. Lugenbeel

  • ... that Dr. Lugenbeel's journal became the only known record of the proceedings of the 1847 Liberian Constitutional Convention? Source: Dunn, Elwood D.; Beyan, Amos J.; Burrowes, Carl Patrick (2000). Historical Dictionary of Liberia. p. 85.

  • Not sure if it's appropriate to use "Dr. Lugenbeel" instead of his full name, as if "Dr. Lugenbeel" were some household name. Article generally seems OK, new and long enough, and appropriately referenced. Hook is interesting, though the convention should ideally be piped. Will return to this once QPQ is done. • @Kingoflettuce: An alternate has been provided based on your comment. Also, isn't my QPQ obligation already fulfilled? It says that "nominators who have five or more DYK nominations must review another article", but this is only my second DYK nomination. RoundSquare (talk) 16:31, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

Ok, didn't realise you were exempt. (for the offline sources) - would probably ditch the "Dr." in the hook, based on the general consensus on honorifics here. Kingoflettuce (talk) 09:39, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
