  • The article has not previously featured on the Main Page.
  • The article is clearly long enough. I know a stub when I see one, and this is no stub. This has some 6000 characters.
  • Citations are ample and drawn from respected news sources.
  • As far as I can tell, the Spanish-language sources back up the prose.
  • No disputes surround the article.
  • I see nothing that might be construed as a BLP violation.
  • No particular issues with plagiarism. The wording is original.
  • No neutrality issues, either. Very straightforward account.
  • Not up for AfD.
