Entre a Mi Mundo[edit]

Created/expanded by AJona1992 (talk). Self nom at 15:59, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

  • With 2 becauses, ALT1 is very difficult to understand. --69.157.46.38 (talk) 10:30, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Length and expansion both meet criteria, and the date also checks out. I agree with the IP user above that ALT1 is too wordy and unclear, so I am reviewing the original hook. Hook referenced offline: AGF. Majority of references are offline or foreign language, but checks on those that I could access reveal no evidence of close paraphrasing. Good to go. • Returned to noms page for further review. The word "noting" in the hook doesn't make sense. --Orlady (talk) 00:21, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Believed to be the equivalent of that performer. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 14:03, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Which specific sources say this? --Orlady (talk) 15:54, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
FNs 30 and 31, they believed Selena was similar to Diana Ross and Leslie Gore in the song "Missing my Baby" which resembles one of their songs (Diana Ross) or the way they sing (Leslie Gore). Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 15:59, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! I see that the Deseret News referred to the "Leslie Gore baby-voice" in this song, and I see from the article that "the The Virginian-Pilot believed that "Missing My Baby" was built on hooks that recall Diana Ross' "Missing You" which was a tribute to Marvin Gaye". Since several DYK reviewers were unable to discern what "noted" means in the hook or the article, both the hook and the article ought to be reworded. I suggest the following new wording for the hook:
Sounds good :-) Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 17:15, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Let's call it good then. --Orlady (talk) 05:28, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
