Dmitri Borgmann[edit]

  • ... that "Father of Logology" Dmitri Borgmann earned $10,000 for coining the name Exxon, making him (at $2000 per letter) the world's highest-paid writer?

  • Comment: Today I rescued (I hope) this almost completely unsourced stub from an AfD by completely rewriting it with reliable sources. (Compare before and after.)

5x expanded by Psychonaut (talk). Self nominated at 13:13, 22 October 2014 (UTC).

  • @Psychonaut: Sufficiently expanded, meets core content policies. Hook is directly cited to RSes, but I can't access all of them, so I'll AGF that one of the ones I can't access supports the hook. The AFD needs to be closed before the nomination proceeds though. --Jakob (talk) 17:43, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
    • The AfD has just been closed as a keep, so the DYK process can proceed. —Psychonaut (talk) 19:39, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
      • OK then. --Jakob (talk) 20:17, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
