Arabari[edit]

Arabari forest
Arabari forest
  • ... that greening the barren forest of Arabari (pictured) was brought about by setting up Joint Forest Management committees between local villagers and government?

5x expanded by Nvvchar (talk). Self-nominated at 01:17, 23 August 2015 (UTC).

  • - 5x expansion ok, age of article ok, written neutrally (I fixed some prose issues), hook cited to source and faithful to it. No copyvio detected with Earwig's tool. good to go. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 01:38, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
  • Cas Liber, I'm having trouble parsing the hook, and I don't believe it's in good enough shape to be posted on the main page. In addition, the second History paragraph needs a thorough copyedit, not just the part where the hook is taken from. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:15, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
  • Cas Liber, apologies for not replying sooner. The first History paragraph's third sentence ("This policy") seems off—the first clause appears to contradict the second—and the final sentence needs a bit more context. The second source, which I could not access, clearly has problems with its biblio entry: the author's last name cannot be Summatative (nor the full author name Assessment Summatative), and although the Google Books page does give the title as having the word "Evalutation", it isn't a real word so I hope it's a typo on Google's side, since if it were part of the real title it would cast doubt on the quality of the publisher. Nvvchar, please fix this entry. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:52, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
  • @BlueMoonset: Made changes in text in first paragraph of the history section. Added some more info on Naxalites. Changed the format for the book reference after deleting it from the bibliography section.Nvvchar. 06:14, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
  • Nvvchar, it still says "Evalutation". You obviously were able to access the textbook, since you're citing information from it: is that word really in actual book's title—on its cover and interior title page? The book itself is the definitive source; if the Google page has misspelled the book title, we should not be promulgating the error any further. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:58, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Sorry,@BlueMoonset: I have not been able to resolve this issue. Probably I have not understood your objection correctly. You may like to suggest a solution, please. Nvvchar. 15:20, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Nvvchar, can you please quote me the entire title of the book from the book itself? There will be at least one interior page where the full title of the book is given, or it might be on the copyright page as part of the copyright notice. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:30, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
  • BlueMoonset The book has this title “CCE Series Science: [Continuous & Comprehensive Evalutation: Term 2: Summative Assessment – II]”,Nvvchar. 15:45, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Nvvchar, they actually spell it "Evalutation" rather than "Evaluation" on the physical book cover itself, or on the interior title page of the book? You're quoting from the actual book, and not that page? If that's the case—they're that careless—then to my mind it casts doubt on their overall reliability as a source, unless this was an aberration. (Typos can happen even in a series title; if the entire series does this, it really makes you wonder.) BlueMoonset (talk) 15:58, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
  • BlueMoonset The interior two pages gives this version "CCE Sries Science [Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation] Term 2: Summative Assessment" and speled correcctly as Evaluation. In my view It is very reliable source.Nvvchar. 16:06, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Then I suggest you fix the reference so it reflects the correctly spelled title. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:24, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks. Fixed the correct title in Ref 2.Nvvchar. 07:02, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
