Untitled[edit]

I have added much to Wright's personal life, making not especially of her education. I would like to note that since Wright is often talked about only as an auxiliary figure to Lyndon Johnson, I have included her own voice as a way to emphasize her individuality. As such the article is quite quote-heavy. Furthermore, I have added an infobox with her birth and death date, as well as a photo from the signing of the Voting Rights Act. Lede[edit]

The first sentence places Wright as a woman who exists only as an auxiliary figure in the life of someone else. While her connection to Johnson is certainly relevant, I doubt that is the core argument for her inclusion in wikipedia. I would like to see the first sentence mention her career or political/social contributions beyond for whom she cooked.
