Farewell Farewell[edit]

I have removed the following three sentences:

The album was a recording of what was planned to be a farewell concert in the village of Cropredy, Oxfordshire. The event was triggered by the impending break-up of the band which followed medical advice given to fiddle-player Dave Swarbrick to save his hearing by playing no more amplified music. The event was eventually to grow into the annual Cropredy Festival.

The first is untrue (see Farewell Farewell) and the other two, whilst true, are out of context in the absence of the first. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:55, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was untrue. The album's tracks are from Birmingham University, Southampton University and Derby Assembly Rooms. I have now re-written, but please rv if you think superfluous to the narrative. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:24, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
