Is the photo some kind of vandalism?

This article has a photograph. The caption is "Wizzard", but the photo certainly isn't of a British rock band. It's just some photo of some guy. Perhaps someone uploaded their photo here as a joke?

It's certainly not a photo of Roy Wood. Indeed, it looks a lot like an amateur photo taken on somebody's webcam....

From the file history, it appears that this hasn't changed in a long time, although I'm not sure, because Wikipedia art file histories have always perplexed me. (According to the article history, this article has used wizzard.jpg since before 15 September 2006, and yet according to the art file history, wizzard.jpg wasn't created until 30 January 2007. Hard times?

I once read somewhere that about 15 years ago, a member of Wizzard was living out of a rented bedsit and on the rock. Hunt's departure

At this distance in time it's probably impossible to verify any details, but this article claims Hunt left in autumn 1973, rather than 1974 – and if he left to become a music teacher, that time of year rings true. Harfarhs (talk) 09:57, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

"You Got Me Running"

The confusion over "You Got Me Running" being a single may have arisen because it appears on the 1999 compilation Singles A's And B's: [1] Martinevans123 (talk) 18:28, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

It certainly was a track on the Introducing Eddy and the Falcons album [2], but I am not aware of it being released as a single (A or B-side); although, as Martin states, its appearance on the Singles A's And B's compilation is enough to confuse. Maybe it was scheduled as a single, but never made it to the UK shops. There are discographies in Record Collector (RC) issues 80 and 180. I have both of these, boxed up somewhere. RC discographies normally list both sides of singles, and also indicate singles that were only released in non-UK markets. This edit first introduced the 'single' to the article in June 2014, and was by an editor who was subsequently blocked indefinitely in March 2019 for disruptive editing.
