Incorrect Dates somewhere?[edit]

He is listed as being the son of William d'Aubigny (Brito), who died around 1137. Since the younger William died in 1236, he would have been nearly 100 years old when he died, and in his late 70's at the time of the signing of the Magna Carta.--Blkgardner (talk) 23:36, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction?[edit]

On William d' Aubigny (Brito)'s page, he is listed as his grandson, not his son.U2fancat (talk) 13:06, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These d'Aubigny aka Albini require some more sorting out. The information in the Wikipedia articles does not match the details in the Wikisource DNB articles (s:Albini, William de (d.1236) (DNB00), s:Albini, William de (d.1221) (DNB00), s:Albini, William de (d.1176) (DNB00), s:Albini, William de (d.1155-6) (DNB00)). It is entirely possible that some of the DNB authors got it wrong, thus leading to the current confusion. Fritzelblitz (talk) 14:13, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
