Sexual Harassment Complaint[edit]
This section keeps getting deleted. It was a story that was in the New York Times and is part of an ongoing national conversation about the sexual harassment of graduate students by professors, an issue that has been covered extensively by the national media and outlets that are focused on news in higher education such as the Chronicle of Higher Education. I'd be happy to hear the rationale for the section's continual deletion and address any issues that need to be resolved. Ninjalemur (talk) 19:11, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

Why is the largest section of this entry devoted to sexual harassment allegations? One of the women cited in the NYtimes article says he never propositioned her. The other says he brought it up once, she reminded him of her family, and he never retaliated. This section is not biographical and it colors the entry of a person and this individual's rather illustrious academic career, for unproven allegations. NINJALEMUR seems to have an axe to grind. Citations[edit]
In looking over this page, I've noticed that none of the Early Life section material is cited. Where is this being sourced from? Additionally, the faculty bio page (citation #1) has been redirected and doesn't appear to be live on Columbia's website anymore. I've replaced it with the archived version from the Wayback Machine, but there isn't a version newer than 2008. Generally, this article needs to be better referenced, except for the sexual harassment allegations, which are well-covered. Anarchyshake (talk) 02:27, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
