Why?[edit]

Why is there this huge article on an essentially inconsequential, low-ranking government official? His boss's boss has a smaller article... Stevenmitchell (talk) 19:24, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some problems: looks like a resume written by the subject or someone hired by/close to him. In the history an ip (173.73.174.59) adds in a bunch of sentences, particularly in the Controversies section, and is mostly an attempt to defend the subject's actions. Many of the refs are broken now, so it's impossible to verify sources. Far too much info about an essentially minor political appointee embroiled in one conflict, and a minor player in a failed campaign. Thegeneralguy (talk) 05:07, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ALSO: this photo does not match/looks like someone younger than the Internet Archive version of his bio from the global health website https://web.archive.org/web/20070701194553/http://www.globalhealth.gov/office/steigerbio.html OrganizetheInternet (talk) 14:16, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox Question[edit]

The article needs an infobox and I plan on adding one, but should I use template:infobox officeholder or template:infobox person? I don't know which one I should use because he has worked for the U.S. government but not as a senator or representative. ❤HistoryTheorist❤ 20:45, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
