Can we get a photo of this new terminal?[edit]

Article would be improved with a photo of this new terminal? Can someone make some public photos? of the construction? of the new leased ship already moored to the jetty? etc. Added the {needs photo} template. — N2e (talk) 15:16, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Looks as if it may yet meet the December 2022 opening of the terminal[edit]

Hoegh Esperanza is now in port. Germany's first floating #LNG terminal Hoegh Esperanza has arrived at #Wilhelmshaven shortly after 3pm German time on Thursday, acc. to @ICISOfficial ship-tracking. Opening ceremony scheduled for Saturday 17 Dec with @Bundeskanzler + MinistersN2e (talk) 15:50, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And, they did, and now by mid-January, one of the two gas terminals at Lubmin has received its first LNG tanker load. N2e (talk) 02:31, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

10 tankers arrived or en route to Germany in the first six weeks[edit]

Where does Germany source its #LNG from? "More than half of imports are from USA . Since the start in mid-December 2022 cargos have come from US, Spain, Africa and Middle East, see @ICISOfficial ship-tracking data."

The source provided lists the ten LNG tanker loads since mid-December. Appears as if good progress on converting Germany gas imports from Russian pipeline gas to marine-delivered LNG. N2e (talk) 01:45, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
