Route description[edit]

The route description for the route in Morgantown is much too detailed. A listing of stores and shopping centers on the route is inappropriate for a Wikipedia article. Brian Powell (talk) 18:51, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's only a 3.5 mile road. It is, however, a very important road in the city, which is why this is an article. I was using other articles as a guideline. As for the name of the shopping center, I wasn't sure about that anyway. I think that's the only name anyway. Mylan Pharmaceutical is a major company. I'm willing to fix the article, if you have some suggestions. Deigo (talk) 19:00, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand why you took out some of the stuff. Could you please clarify? I've been looking at other articles on short routes that include at least as much detail. For example County Route 676 (Middlesex County, New Jersey). Deigo (talk) 19:09, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I cut stuff about restaurants and grocery stores that wasn't relevant. The article is about the road itself. Indeed, WV 705 is important to the Morgantown area but there are better ways to expand the article. A discussion of its history and the proposed Pastureland Parkway would be much more appropriate for the article. Brian Powell (talk) 21:12, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
