West Ranch is in Stevenson Ranch? Or Valencia?[edit]

There seems to be a few who believe West Ranch High is in Stevenson Ranch. After extensive research, I believe it is in Valencia.

Some of the reason people believe the school is in Stevenson Ranch are as follows:

1) "Because the school's website indicates so."

What just because the school or the district makes an assumption or a mistake, we all have to believe it?

2) "The 91381 area code is used for both Stevenson Ranch and Valencia."

Ya, but if you run the address through the postal service it does not indicate a Stevenson Ranch address.

Well how do we really know where a school is. I am thinking maps maybe. Well if you run the schools address on google.com it returns as a both Stevenson Ranch and Valencia. So this does not resolve the issue.

My second option is the postal service. I run the address on usps.com and the address returns to a Valencia address. Problem resolved. At least unless someone has a better way to resolve this.

Considering the school lists it's address as Stevenson Ranch, I would say that the Wikipedia article should list it as Stevenson Ranch. If the school itself says that's where they are, then that is what should be used for the article... unless you can find a reliable source that outright says the school does not know where they are located. This is really quite simple. If you check the established City of Valencia borders, it stops at the 5 Fwy. Bottom line, it's in unincorporated LA County, in Stevenson Ranch.
