The following "raw text" in cap letters was added by BERRYSONGBIRD on 21/8/2012. It may contain useful information, hopefully with some source given, but is too crude for inclusion in the article in its present state:
"THE CASTLE WAS BROUGHT FIRST BY A MR BLACK,THEN TO A MR WOOLAWAY,IN 1958 IT WAS SOLD TO THE BRAIN FAMILY.AS I REMEMBER IT WAS BUOGHT TO BUILD HOLIDAY COTTAGES.I THINK IT WAS SOLD FOR A £1000 AND THE CASTLE WAS THROWN IN FOR FREE.
MR BRAIN SEN STARTED TO REPAIR THE CASTLE [MY FATHER WAS A JOINER THERE]AND IT WAS HE THAT FIRST PUT VARIOUS ARTIFACTS IN SO THAT IT COULD BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC."(Lobsterthermidor (talk) 15:44, 10 November 2012 (UTC))[reply]
