Beware non-Neutral Point of View (NPOV)[edit]

Recently the article has seen edits that do not maintain the necessary neutrality. I have removed the non NPOV text and offer it here as a example of what type of language to avoid when making edits:

In 2005, it was refered [sic] to as "Eastern Washington's Grizzly Stadium" after the Eastern Washington University Eagles defeated the Grizzlies 34-20 in front of a shocked sold out crowd of Griz fans.

Some other editor, came along and change the above language to the following:

Eastern Washington University's Woodward Field in Cheney, Washington is nicknamed "Eastern Washington Grizzly Stadium," because Montana fans often outnumber the hometown Eagle faithful when the two teams play. Montana also has a winning record in Cheney.

Hmmm...to me as the casual reader who is an alumna of neither Montana or Eastern Washington, it seems the two authors are fans. It may be that one, both or neither statements are true, I can't tell. But because neither claim was accompanied with a citation, I removed both. Please read WP:NOPOV. -- Ltvine | Talk 15:58, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
