I put in the info from the Walther site again, but i tried to format it only with the technical information and tried not to directly plagerize it. --Samuelkowal906 (talk) 11:01, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple corrections and language tweaks.[edit]

Did a moderate clean-up of language. Corrected Model descriptions - now properly referenced. Corrected picture caption - the picture appears to be an M2 with accessory top Picatinny rail added, or an M3 with the lower Picatinny rail removed. Am finding many references to the SP22 CA variants (and perhaps the entire SP22 line) being discontinued by 2011, but cannot find verifiable references for this anywhere. This article still needs: 1) picture of SP22 M1 model without aftermarket stuff on it, Information as to who designed it - article says Walther, but unusable references indicate it was actually designed by “Umarex”, an airgun manufacturer. 2)Referenced notation as to when it was introduced (maybe 2007?). 3)Referenced notation that it has been (and when?) discontinued by S&W and/or Walther. It does not appear in the 01JAN2012 Walther catalogue. It also does not seem to be in the Walther 2011 catalogue. Various forums talk about it being discontinued by 2011, but cannot find good source for this. BeadleB (talk) 04:43, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
