Descent[edit]

Hi. It says in the article that he is of Icelandic and English descent - I just found an article from 1930 in an Icelandic-language paper, published in Winnipeg, that states that he's entirely of Icelandic descent. "Byron" was an anglicization of "Björn", according to that article. It states that he was the son of Björn Bjarnarson Byron and his wife Margrét Kristmannsdóttir.
