Contains several inaccuracies[edit]

When attempted to correct, I was told that my prior work at the radio station created a conflict of interest. It was suggested that I not contribute as such. While I question the view that a previous employee is not an appropriate source for historical information, clearly wikipedia believes that a source not connected with the radio station is somehow more qualified to offer input on the topic. As such I have returned to article to its previous inaccurate state.

Can you provide citations for the information that you believe is inaccurate? If so, please feel free to make a request for an edit on this talk page, with those citations and what should be corrected. Actually, you're the one building that mountain. You started doing so when you called into question the idea that someone with knowledge of the situation corrected factual errors. There was nothing factually wrong. Yet, the fact that I once drew a pay check from that radio station somehow means in wiki-world that I'm the most unqualified for the job. You want facts? Find them yourself. Not that I trust you much. I've found two mistakes in the Mark Patrick entry you lay claim to. Yes, I've known Mark for almost 40 years. As for you, Striker, farewell.

You're missing the point. Nowhere did I "call into question the idea that someone with knowledge of the situation corrected factual errors." I don't have a reason to doubt your edits. You'll note that I did not revert your edits (unless you added something that is inherently original research, as defined by policy). The issue that I raised is that you may have a conflict of interest, which is considered to be problematic on Wikipedia. Your issue is with the policy, not the fact that I pointed out the conflict. As to "the Mark Patrick entry you lay claim to", please provide a diff to show me what you're talking about, because the edit history on that article shows that I haven't touched it since I created it as a stub - with citations - eight years ago.
