Brock Lesnar[edit]

Brock Lesnar has just been revealed in a video on youtube Proof-Type in WWE All Stars Brock Lesnar.-74.103.123.57 (talk) 21:09, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not really, it's a painting by Simon Hayag that was produced way before the game's announcement. Oh and no "confirmed wrestler" sections please. --  Θakster   20:58, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

why not?-Mastercarr (talk) 02:48, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Long story short, it's essentially listcruft. From this and this, it was agreed a couple of years ago not to have roster lists and instead go have a prose section such as how many superstars are in the game, downloadable content, brands, etc. as soon as an official roster announcement is made. --  Θakster   10:32, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Huge revelation[edit]

Put on alert, because this month is the "huge revelation" of WWE All Stars and have to be aware of all the details. --Ponce (talk) 18:45, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WWE Hall of Fame[edit]

Do you think it should be featured that WWE All Stars is the official "promoter" of the 2011's WWE Hall of Fame? --189.216.147.92 (talk) 21:45, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stone Cold[edit]

I dont see any picture of him, so why is he in the section -71.179.148.71 (talk) 22:57, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Slogan[edit]

I think it would be cool to put in the article, the slogan of the game (2 generations all in 1 ring) and refer to what this means. --Ponce (talk) 16:13, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added it to the lead in the proper context. --Jtalledo (talk) 19:57, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fantasy Warfare[edit]

Is it okay to mention that there is a Facebook application called "Fantasy Warfare" and record all its features?

Recent reverts and rosters[edit]

Howdy all. I'm looking for people's opinions on putting a roster of wrestlers available for play in this game into the article. A little history: With this edit a roster was removed and the edit summary said to view this page. Unless I'm missing something, that page doesn't mention rosters. With these 2 edits I added a link and readded a roster. I readded the roster because I saw nothing on the previous target link about rosters. Both of my edits were then reverted by User:Mikeymike2001 without an edit summary. I asked Mikeymike2001 why the revision was made and why there was no edit summary with the reversion, but it was archived without a response. A roster was then added back into the article by User:PineappleGarza. It was removed again by Mikeymike2001 without saying why he didn't want rosters in the article. So, what are people's opinions?--Rockfang (talk) 02:53, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rockfang. This topic has come up several times. Consensus was not to include roster lists, but rather mention notable additions to rosters via prose. See this discussion and this other discussion. A list of wrestlers seems reasonable, but is impractical within professional wrestling video game articles given the sheer size of rosters in many wrestling games. As a result of how big they get, roster lists are generally considered video game specific material and not acceptable for a general encyclopedia such as Wikipedia. I personally believe rosters should be mentioned in some fashion, but current consensus is that they should not be included.
By the way, the link I meant to include in the edit summary was the Professional Wrestling WikiProject's talk page at WT:PW. My apologies for the erroneous link. --Jtalledo (talk) 03:27, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for providing a response. That information was exactly what I was looking for. If noone has any problems with it, I'm going to readd the link to the Ultimate Warrior's page, and add some links to the other wrestler's pages as well. I'm still not sure why the Ultimate Warrior link was removed.--Rockfang (talk) 05:33, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Reasoning to not include rosters in pro wrestling games in stupid. Because they're big?? UFC Undisputed 2010 had like 100 fighters and its roster is listed. You forgot to add timestamp Kane (talk) 08:51, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know right, to many of us wrestling fans, the roster can be the whole deciding factor in whether we buy the game, and lets be honest, 99% of people always check wiki first when they want to know something like that. Kane (talk) 08:51, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Don't take it up here - take it up on WT:PW. --Jtalledo (talk) 11:21, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
