WTAR Became a CBS Affiliate[edit]

I was listening to some old time radio programs by podcast and heard the announcement below:

"It's a double celebration this coming Monday for radio station WTAR, Norfolk Virginia. This coming Monday WTAR celebrates it's 30th anniversary and on the same day this popular, powerful Norfolk radio station becomes a CBS radio affiliate. Welcome to the ever expanding coast to coast CBS radio family, WTAR."

Below is a link to be podcast episode in question.

This link starts at around 28min 21s into the program.

As a Hampton Roads local, this caught my ear. However, this information seems to contradict some of the info from the main article. I figured I'd drop this info in the talk section and let someone who knows more about this page sort out how the main article might be best updated.
